As I understand it, a lot of people made a lot of money using what they learned at Trump U. The problem was, some years later, the real estate market crashed, and they lost of money. The question is, were the methods taught at Trump U effective and worthwhile at the time they were taught. The answer is yes, they were, when properly applied, they made a lot of people money, sometimes a lot of it. The market crash that came some years later was not Trump’s fault. The investors should have been more aware and more attuned to what was happening in the economy. If they lost money, they had only themselves to blame.
Ok, so is your answer Yes? You would personally spend your own money on a Trump U. course or allow a family member to do so?
Are you sure Trump University was actually a university? I am under the impression that Trump dumped the word “university” from the title when he was challenged.
If “Trump University” wasn't actually a university he really should not have claimed and sold it as such. Students who were damaged by any false claim should be made whole.
The question is did Trump fraudulently advertise what the University did. Supposedly he said he would handpick the instructors and that didn’t happen.
The other issue is you’re throwing away an advantage over Hillary. Trump can’t say Hillary’s under investigation for her e-mails when she can just come back and say he’s being sued for his university.
