There is a great deal of ongoing research on this and Ketogenic diets for the treatment and prevention of cancer. The difficulty in the diet is not from the fats, but from the consumption of protein and then gluconeogenesis. That is where the researches are focusing their efforts to find the minimum requirements so as not to feed cancer cells from protein conversion to sugars.
Yep. The problem is all carbs.
