Came back from the vet about an hour ago. The $300 cellular studies test results were not ready yet. Not til next week. Vet thinks it's leukemia or bone cancer. She prevailed upon me to give Kefira a prednisone shot to buy her more quality time. She also sent me home with Science Diet A/D, which Kefira scarfed down, unbelievably, to me. She just ate nearly half a 6 oz. can. Also I have to give her some prescription vitamins, as she is very anemic. The vet wants me to contact her in about 3 days to see if the prednisone is helping. Thanks to EVERYONE for caring so much about my little sweetheart.

Make sure you get the right diagnosis. I had a cat who could have had either cancer or Inflamatory Bowel Disease, which is treated with prednisone. Get a second opinion. Thank God it wasn’t cancer. Also, I can’t recommend kitty chiropractic highly enough.

That is one beautiful kitteh. I am glad she is eating. I hope things come out OK, but Kefira is lucky to have you as staff.
