I’ve seen this type before, one who always refers to it as “the civil government” used to make his own license plate in similar kind of protest. Story goes, the sheriff explained that if he didn’t get a real one he might soon be making license plates all day long. The guy complied but put a big sign in his back window explaining how the US was being taken over by nazis or something.
