A Virginia daycare teacher accused of turning her classroom of 2-year-olds into a "baby fight club" was knocked out by a jury on Thursday.
Kierra Spriggs was convicted of child cruelty and other abusive behavior charges after a two-week trial in the Virginia suburbs of Washington, D.C.
She was found guilty of four felony counts of child cruelty and two misdemeanor counts of assault and battery, according to NBC Washington. She could get up to five years in prison on each of the felony count convictions and a year for each misdemeanor count.

What has this world come to? If they take away baby boxing, I’ll have to go back to torturing infidels in my basement until they repent.
Give her the whole load of 22 years. She may get a modicum F sense by the tie she gets out.
I wonder if the matches were “fight to the death” ?
First rule of baby fight club is....
There is also kids’ cage fighting, reportedly legal in some states - they involve older kids.
An Obama daughter.
The only reason to doubt this is is - why isn’t it on Youtube?
Yeah you know there’s camera video out there somewhere.
Another meat puppet for the serpents.
Never bring a teething ring to a rattle fight?
Worldstar!
I’m skeptical about the charges here. This reminds me of the kinds of charges thrown around in the fake day care prosecutions of the eighties and nineties (Amiraults, McMartins, etc., etc.) . The only evidence the article mentions is that some kid didn’t want to go to day care, which could have happened for all sorts of reasons.
I googled this case out of curiosity, and none of the articles mentioned any physical evidence or the parents reporting kids getting sick because of eating the burning food the day care center employees were giving. It was all “my child didn’t want to go to day care anymore.” You can get parents anxiety level up by just suggesting their children have been abused.
Also, how were they pulling this off in a day care center where anyone could walk in at any time? No other teacher ever noticed anything except for that one other teacher who made some weird unrelated charges?
I call B.S. on this conviction.
How do 2-year-old babies fight? Do they slowly crawl over and stick their fingers in each other’s mouths? Bump heads?
So sad when parents turn their precious children over to the care of strangers.
I remember several months ago when this story was on FR. I distinctly recall that the article said that there had been a video on YouTube.
I googled YouTube and Google Videos and found nothing. But if you or anyone can send me a link, I’ll watch it and perhaps revise my suspicions.
The first rule of Baby Fight Club is ... Don't show this ugly git's face
Rule #2: Don't talk about Baby Fight Club.
You touched the real issue right there.
