I'd think that it's a pretty big "if" to assume that all or even most of Cruz's voters would follow directions to vote for Rubio. etc. Folks who supported their candidate are more likely to go to Trump if they can't get their guy, I'd think.

And what will Carson supporters do if Cruz plays more "win at all cost" games?

Mygosh, it's all fascinating. It's unchartered territory. Nobody really knows how manipulation by the elite would play out.
