Poll: Only 15 percent say they have benefited from ObamaCare

ust 15 percent of people say they have personally benefited from ObamaCare, although more than one-third believe it has helped the people of their state, according to a poll released Monday.

Most Americans -- a total of 56 percent -- say they haven't felt directly affected by the Affordable Care Act. Among those who have felt affected, more people say the law has hurt them than helped them, according to polling by National Public Radio and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

Twenty-six percent of U.S. adults say they have been personally harmed by the healthcare law since its passage -- a fraction that likely reflects those in the poll who said they have noticed rising healthcare costs in the last several years.

And while the majority of adults said they believed their healthcare costs were "reasonable," many said those costs were becoming less affordable over time.

The mixed views, found by polling 1,002 people nationally, reflects the polarization in the country on ObamaCare and healthcare generally.

The national poll included 1,002 responses with a margin of error of 3.8. Researchers also polled more than 1,000 people in each of seven different states.

Twenty-six percent of Americans say the cost of healthcare has been a serious strain on their finances in the last two years. About 40 percent of those facing financial struggles because of their medical bills said they have spent all or most of their savings accounts on large bills. About one in five people said they've been forced to forgo prescriptions because they can't afford them.

Still, nearly three-quarters of adults say they get "good value for what they pay toward the cost" of their health care.

And the 15 % are probably paid to say that.

1. Lost my Doc, who moved to a state with a chance to be a doctor again.
2. Lost my old plan.
3. Pay more for prescriptions.
4. New HCP insists on seeing docs further from home.

FUBO.

Because in reality, someone else is paying for the bulk of it.

Maybe communism will be the herald of the country doctor with a twist.

Docs not getting licensed, driving around offering services for cash.

They’d need some suped up vans though, to outrun the Feds.

I’m not in Obamacare, but it has hurt me significantly in terms of what I have to pay, and most of that happened even before Obamacare went into effect.

FUBO, you ******* liar.

Supreme Court says ZeroCare is a “tax.” President Trump should abolish the “tax” in January.

I went looking for how many people died from unlicensed medical treatment and found this gem.

http://lasvegassun.com/news/2011/apr/10/2-nabbed-mccarran-accused-womans-death-after-botch/

Every year in Tampa several people die from silicon injections for lips, buttock and the penis. From some of the articles it appears that the person committing the fraud uses silicone from a commercial source like Lowes.

Those who had insurance and lost it were not asked for an opinion.

To give an example of how insane this law is.

My employer provides insurance, used to pay about 8 grand a year in premiums and my employer about 12 for the best plan, 20 grand but scrips and all hospitalization was 100%, maybe a $20 co pay at the doctor.

Now the deductibles for the same plan are $1500 before they pay a dime and I still pay the 8 grand, OR, I can choose the basic plan (the plan for losers) but a plan where I pay only $1500 a year in Premiums but the deductibles are 8 grand and they pay for nothing until I am 8 grand out of pocket.

So I now pay 6500 less a year in premiums and my employer pays about 10 grand less, the insurance company just lost 16.5 thousand in premiums and as long as I dont get sick I come out way ahead.

I can do simple math but most of the people I work with apparently cant, didnt want the stigma of the basic plan or a high deductible, so they are still chucking out 8 grand in premiums plus a 1500 deductible or almost 10 grand before the insurance company pays out dime one.

As one freeper put it, I used to be able to afford good health insurance, now I can afford to pay for bad health insurance, but why would I do that?

No wonder the insurance companies are taking a beating.

Sounds like someone who wasn’t even a doc, like the folks that do ear piercing, etc..

Used, mobile, MRIs are out there for as low as 70k.

If radiology is not your thing, with a microscope, slides, a speculum, and those long q-tips, you could roll into the local barrio and do $5 pap smears.

“And the 15 % are probably paid to say that.”

Most of them lie about that for free.

One congresswoman asked for her constituents to post on her facebook page about their negative experiences with obamacare. Her post went viral on all the liberal outlets on and offline. As a consequence her facebook post was swarmed by thousands upon thousands of people all claiming to have nothing but positive experiences. Some would claim to be hardcore conservatives. But i would look up their facebook profiles and they were members of the most hardcore leftist groups.

One woman claimed to be a registered nurse with a doctor husband and how obamacare helped them get good and affordable health insurance for their clinic employees. I googled her and discovered that she wasnt a registered nurse. She was actually a school social worker. And i couldnt find any evidence of her doctor husband, or just a husband.

Obamacare supporters lie, all the time.

Don't forget Valjar's operation room with her 36 staffers who use thousands of social media profiles to pretend to be people who support all things Obama, Muslim, and Democrat daily.

It was a new tax foisted on us; billboards advertising ObamaCare in Spanish are in my town (and mention subsidies) - it was just more wealth redistribution.
