Bad idea.

He wouldn't be near as cocky if he wasn't two election cycles away from having to run for re-election.

The 38% of registered Democrats to whom we usually refer as "Blue Dog" or "Reagan Democrats" coming over to vote for Trump will more than make up for the "Sasse Sissies" who turn turncoat to Trump's triumphal expansion of the New Republican Party, which will now include every American who shudders that the thought of a Socialist like Clinton or Sanders ever again sitting in our Oval.

As the Dems see drastically shrinking ballot turnouts nationwide, The Trump Enthusiasm is seeing MASSIVE RECORD numbers at all GOP polling stations.

Thank you, Donald.

Oh jeez. Nebraska is as red as Utah. No way it is going for Hitlery.

This is more likely to cast him his own seat than Trump the election.

How will Cruz keep them from coming back through the usual immigration system if they apply legally?

I’d have no problem with that, but how does he make that come about?

Using the word reign is not a criminal offense. However, it is revealing of Trump’s mindset.

He will probably rename the United States ‘Trumpland.’

It’s not a game chris. We’re deciding our future and I hope we all still have a right to our opinion here.

Trump is polarizing and controversial. Which is why a lot of people like him. And also why a lot of people hate him. If, should he get the nomination, divorcing him from the downticket races in districts that hate him and where he could do damage is a good thing.

Nope. Romney and his shoe shine boy Sasse are trying to damage Trump so badly he can’t win the general. They want amnesty and TPP. Hillary gives them those billions in crony cash. Trump does not.

I will vote for Trump if that odd, narcissist gets nominated.

What I’m worried about is that so many people will sit it out and elect Hillary by default.

She has a solid base that will always vote democrat so Trump will need to pull all the Republicans and Independents.

He has a huge unlikable factor. I guess we’ll have to see.

I’m still hoping people come to their senses and nominate Cruz.

“How will Cruz keep them from coming back through the usual immigration system if they apply legally?”

They can’t apply legally haven been here illegally.

This is the way the law is written now — note I said “written” -— not “enforced”. The federal government has been ignoring the law since George W.

Why would you post something that is obviously false.

Ted has a better policy on illegals than Donald. Donald just screams ‘get rid of them’ whereas Ted has a sensible policy that would work and it does not involve letting the so-called good ones back in to work for him.

He fought with McConnell? Good. But nobody likes him in the Senate?

Guess not.

A Tea Party Senator sounds good to me.

Rubio supports amnesty. Cruz supports Rubio over Trump. Therefore, Cruz supports amnesty.

Trump is winning even a very significant number of “Very Conservative” voters

Bitter Ender “Movement Conservatives” can try this tactics at their own peril. When significant portions of your own voters are behind a candidate, it is a high risk, low reward strategy to try and sabotage that candidate.

But do as you will Senator. There will be many of us out here to point out that it is an egotist petulant child mindset that motivates this behavior not any real point of integrity or principal.

Reagan made the point best, something along the lines of “A man 80% on my side is not my enemy.”

If Trump is so liberal why is Romney fighting so hard to stop him? Put your thinking cap on and riddle that one.

So, the establishment demanded that trump sign a contract saying he would support whoever was the ultimate GOP nominee and would not do a third-party run.

Now, when Trump looks like he will be the nominee, the Republican Establishment is saying they will not support him, and would support a 3rd party candidate to deny Trump victory.

Is that what I seem to be hearing?

I find it hilarious to read you postings considering your alias on this board.

Reagan said it best. "A man 80% on my side is not my enemy but a valued friend and ally."
