Good, that should give the media time to pour over every line of these returns and ferret out mob connections.

Trump should ignore this crap like he did in the beginning of the race. He never indulged the media by arguing and he shouldn’t now, won’t lead anywhere good.

Summaries are not tax returns.Summaries are whatever you want them to be. What a couple of douche bags,

“Rubio released summaries of five tax years Saturday and Cruz later released summaries of four years, from 2011 to 2014, according to NBC News.”

Why didn’t they release the details of their tax returns, just a summary. What are they hiding?

The country is in 19 trillion debt. That’s a crime against the US taxpayers done by many past and present criminal politicians in DC. The IRS is corrupt and so are the tax laws and a complex tax code.
Are there flaws in Trump’s tax returns? Who gives a damn. The whole tax thing is a big, fluxin’ mess foisted on us by corrupters in DC. Pox on them all who scrooge us every which way to Super Tuesday.

Actually, they didn’t release their tax returns. They released “summaries”.

Is releasing a tax return a part of Presidential qualifications? Kind of like 35 years old and a natural born citizen?

Epic fail....

How many years have the US citizens been crying out to fix the damn tax code and simplify it? Decades— yet nothing gets done. Why? Because the politicians themselves fear the IRS and personal audits if they raise a stink-yet congress has control over all that and they have done nothing. Utter worthless POS’s in DC. I blame Repugs mostly because they shunned the promises to fix it. What’s worse cheating or miscalculating tax returns or lying to your constituents while letting the Fed Govt rob them and the nation blind?

They only released the 1040...two pages....and it was 2010-2014.

Ted has already filed an extension for his 2015 taxes. I think that can go as late as October.

By that time, he'll be out of the race and dealing with his Senate buddies.....that is,if he feels like showing up.

It will have no affect on the Trumpateers. They will continue to buy his generic bloviating rhetoric. Until Trump can learn to articulate in detail his policies and back off from alienating groups, Hillary is going to trump Trump in general election debates. As said before, her political history and ability to spin, parse, distort, ignore questions for talking points, and outright lie will make Trump look like Perot..."Uh, we're just going to fix it"

If Cruz had only not stepped on his own thingy with certain remarks and had a better campaign manager, THE one true anti-GOPe highly rated conservative would have taken the Oval Office over all others.

As for Rubio, while he's young and now more energetic, his stance on illegals is what's killing him.

I'll vote for Trump if only for his wisdom to appoint capable people. Newt for Chief of Staff! Sessions for VP, providing he changes his mind. John Bolton for Secretary of State. Allen West for Defense Secretary. Cruz for Attorney General or DHS Secretary. The rest of the cabinet can go away or be reduced in scope and funding, including countless bureaus and redundant agencies:
Official US Executive Branch

And no, I don't care about the thousands of public employees out of jobs. Let them get off their fat asses and find real work. Unless the Department of HHS is abolished (unlikely) they can get their welfare for a limited time, according to new restrictions.

Aw jeez (you know the rest).

Cruz and Rubio released PARTIAL tax returns.

Specifically, they only released the 1040 forms, and withheld all of the supporting forms, schedules, and statements that make up a complete return.

What are Cruz and Rubio hiding?

I am not a Trump supporter; in fact, there is no way I can pull the lever for him. Just can’t do it. I don’t believe a word the guy says. When he talks out of both sides of his mouth, everyone assumes he is lying to the other side and telling them the truth. Obvious trolls aside (you know... the people who somehow show up for every single negative topic on Trump by like the seventh post, and spout liberal defenses for whatever he said), I am perplexed how actual thinking conservatives are buying what the man is selling. But the fact is, there are many of them. Many bona fide conservatives on freerepublic whom I respect are supporting the guy, and they have the numbers. It disappoints me, but that’s where things are.

All that said, I think this tax issue is bull. Yes, he is lying through his teeth about the supposed audits (pretty sure if you get audited every year, that means you completed an audit last year and it is settled, so you can at least release that year if you want). I am fairly sure he simply doesn’t want to show his real finances because something may cast him in a negative light. You know what though? I am inclined to believe the true conservative position is that he shouldn’t have to.

He is a private citizen. That used to mean that he was entitled to privacy on a given subject unless he broke the law regarding that subject. Rather than presenting a strangely fluid and vague argument (well, not so strange now that I think about it, given that all his positions are fluid and vague) about audits, he should really just say the following:

“I am a private citizen and my tax returns are none of your business. I am glad the career politicians in the race released their records, because as public servants, they owe a certain transparency to us, the taxpayers. More generally, I support all politicians releasing their tax information, so we can make sure they aren’t getting benefits from lobbyists, etc., and that they aren’t being hypocrites like the democrats who say they should be taxed higher but do everything they can to avoid taxes.

But I am a private citizen who has never been on the payroll of the taxpayer, and as such, they have no business seeing my finances, as I have no business seeing theirs. This is still America, right?

When I become president, I’ll release records for the years I am in office. Until then, go pound sand.”

I am a conservative. I don’t think Trump is, but I am not going to use an unconservative argument against him because it scores points in a debate. I desire to be consistent. That said, perhaps I am not seeing something… Can someone give me a conservative reason why I should be entitled to seeing his records?

I wonder if perhaps Trump is hiding donations to Planned Parenthood.

TRUMP 2016

It Doesn't Matter!

We Don't Care!

It's Just Good Business!

That about covers any truth presented on Donald Trump.

... as they accuse Trump of hiding his behind...

I don’t care if Trump hides his behind. At least it’s in a well tailored pair of pants and not in a foam pool.
