MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry boycotts her own show, suggests racism in letter to staff
MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry is boycotting her own show claiming she has lost editorial control of the program and is frustrated over pre-emptions for political coverage.
In an email to her staff, Harris-Perry blasted NBC News chairman Andrew Lack and/or MSNBC president Phil Griffin for treating her show without respect and suggested she is part of the network for racial purposes.
“I will not be used as a tool for their purposes,†Harris-Perry, 42, wrote. “I am not a token, mammy, or little brown bobble head. I am not owned by Lack, Griffin or MSNBC. I love our show. I want it back.â€

Harris-Perry should be lucky she has a show at all, and it’s only MSNBC that could conceivably give her one. She won’t be happy until they make her CEO of MSNBC, and even then she won’t be happy, because, after all, MSNBC is a dying , racist enterprise. She and Michelle Obama would have fun on a date.
