I lost my girl just recently. A beautiful border collie. Had her almost fourteen years. Reckon it'll be sometime before I get over her.

I just lost my 12-year-old Golden Retriever, I never thought how much it would have affected me. Now I understand.

Beautiful girl. And yes it will take time to get over. That's what we get for loving deeply. My wife has a rescue dog that is boarder collie and great Pyrenees. Sawyer is one of the prettiest and most sweet hearted dogs I have ever known. We also have Butch, a wonderful rottweiler lab mix. He belonged to one of our boys who we lost three years ago. It's going to be really rough when Butch leaves us.
