Bernie Sanders’ Medicare-For-All Plan Has Even Liberals Crying Foul

Health Care: Bernie Sanders has been winning the hearts and minds of Democrats everywhere with a health care plan that is so reckless, extreme and fanciful that even liberals are appalled.

All this policy reflects is the logical conclusion of Democrat Welfare-Stateism. Candidates outbidding each other to expand the handouts further and further without any thought about whether it will destroy the productive engine of our economy. The only reason some Dems are crying foul on this is because they are trapped by their own gradualist mindset. If you are Hillary Clinton, why is this bad but Obamacare isn’t? Why is this bad buy her 1993 healthcare plan wasn’t? Now bloodless, brainless, mercenary Hillary probably is a bad example because she has no principles, but for any other mainstream Dem — Reid, Pelosi, what is wrong with Sanders policy?

If Bernie had just said, "I have a GREAT plan. It'll cover everybody. And it'll be cheaper, too!!" - there would be nothing for his fellow liberals to complain about. And nothing for IBD to hang an article on, either.

Instead, he actually showed the numbers behind his plan. I would characterize that as a yuuuge mistake.
