One thing that got to me was how upset he became at the suggestion that you could label a child of 5 years old as 'gay'. I've watched many of his videos, but this is the first time that I've ever seen him truly angry.
He brings up the science and points out that becoming homosexual is a product of nurture *with* a genetic predisposition.
I really like Milo. He's a conservative Catholic who's accepted that he's gay, who admits that 'there's an element of deliberation in my choice to be gay' and that he wasn't born like this.
I struggle with my own sins. He's honestly struggling with his.
Plus he eats feminists for breakfast. :)
She embraced it and encouraged him to wear lipstick and dresses. Didn't get him speech therapy for his lisp.
He grew up as straight as can be. Once puberty hit he noticed the girls.
She admitted that labeling a child at such a young age is very wrong. She admitted that she probably did damage by trying to push him in that direction.
Thankfully, he had 'dad' to push back.
He's now grown and happily married with children.
Sick! Glad he turned out to be normal anyway.
Homosexuality is not normal. It's not normal for a member of any species to behave in such a manner that would cause the entire species to go extinct if the behavior is widespread.
My father-in-law was an alcoholic. Now, by the time I met him, he was dry, and was dry 35 years when he finally passed of old age. There MAY well be a genetic link to THAT (although in MY experience...the drink is the top 10th of the dyfunction under the water line...you don’t deal with your demons and hid them with drink...you are just what my father in law called a “dry drunk”.
My father-in-law fought it every day for 35 years. His BODY and MIND would tell him “hey, this feels really fun!” But his SOUL could say “I know better...it’s not good for me or those I love.”
Point being, even if there was a genetic link...never, not once did I say “You know, you can’t help it at all. God made you this way, and it would be a sin to fight it! Here! Let me buy you a beer to show I approve of your lifestyle and love you for it!”
That’s why I like Milo. He doesn’t make excuses. He doesn’t embrace the lies that would make him ‘feel’ better. He speaks out strongly about gays being ‘sluts’ and insists that the community adopt *some* standards.
He believes in G-d. He’s a conservative who owns up to his sin - but can’t break it.
Most of us have been there on one level or another. We know that we’re doing the wrong thing, but we don’t stop.
As much as he defends children, as angry as he gets about kids - as much as he pushes that it’s nurture and upbringing that causes homosexuality - I wonder what’s in his past.
I had a gay relative who flat-out said that EVERY gay man that he knew was either molested by a man or damaged by a woman. He was what he was, but he resented it. He didn’t recommend it.
Milo reminds me of this man.

Every one of us struggles with our own personal sin.
ALL of us have some weakness.
And yes. There have been times that I was tempted to give up and just accept mine.
Then a rally and pull upon an invisible resource (thank you G-d) and do better.
It’s not genetic. It’s congenital. A gay man’s brain physically resembles a woman’s brain in certain key areas.
In other words, homosexuality begins in the womb. That means that it is preventable if you can change the conditions in the womb. The idea that it is generic is idiotic as nature would be programming a species to annihilate itself. That’s sheer lunacy.
It is probably not possible or helpful to push children in that direction. You have to wait until puberty.

You have to admire the wisdom of nature, creating lust for partners with whom they can not procreate. Alas, we are providing them with children now anyway, through adoption.
One thing that has always puzzled me though...why would such a “loving and caring life” produce so much disease, physical damage, tearing and rending of flesh and the epic and endemic process of “expressing love” that often includes so many chances to introduce horrifying disease, deformity and long term disabilities.
The dirty secret of the psych business is that the overwhelming majority of male homosexuals admit that they were reprogrammed at a vulnerable age in their sexual development. At an early age they were molested by an older male and / or initiated into the abnormal conduct by peers.
It used to be normal for the psych business to try to help these people... until it became politically incorrect not to.
Yes, somtime in the 70s I belive when they delisted it as a mental illness.
Owning up to his sin...
None of us are beyond the grace of God. Accepting and taking responsibility for our sin, even if we struggle against temptation and fail, is still an enormous virtue and one that is all too rare.
I shall pray that he be given strength. We all have our temptations. Milo's is no different.
