There are numerous reports of this update failing to install, entirely. My Window 10 test machine is one of them - it has failed to complete this update 6 times so far.
I still have the update sitting in the Update file.
I don’t want Win10 .. because I don’t need it. I just use my laptop to write stuff .. and have email connection with my family. And, I like using IE for mail.
Several people have suggested Linux, but I don’t have a clue how to install it. My computer guru is out of town for about 3 mos, so if Win10 downloads .. I’ll have a mess on my hands, and perhaps a lost manuscript.
A little concerned.
I updated a couple of weeks ago and it could not have gone more smoothly. For everything to work seamlessly from computer to phone, I need to use IE. Thanks.
