If it a recent made plane, especially an Airbus, they can pretty much land themselves with the computers they have on board.
Except when the Airbus flight computer decides to land the plane, no matter what, when the pilots want to climb.
A Lockheed 1011 could do that decades ago at an ILS facility. Great airplane.
The trick, though, is knowing how to properly program or schedule the automation.
