There’s no way he could prove it. Anything less than defunding PP completely is direct support for taxpayer funded slaughter of babies, and he knows this.

But I point out that his wishy-washy position here is no different from other controversial positions he takes due to wanting broad support. He draws a fuzzy line, and no matter what anyone says is his position, the case could be made that the person is lying if they then repeat one of those positions.

We used to recognize this tactic and would call it out.

That is true on several of Trump’s positions.

He has staked out several across the spectrum on several issues.

If you point out one, you are called a liar, because you didn’t agree with or point out the times he has changed that position one (or more) times.

Look, I get it. He is claiming to be better than Trump. So what? Everyone ELSE running is more pro life than Trump. But, how does that make him any different than every other "pro life but exceptions", Republican loser in the last 30 years?

Sadly, it doesn't. You can't claim to be the most principled when in reality you are nothing other than the least evil.

I’d love to see the Cruz campaign show the voters how any of us could be called liars by Trump, all at Trump’s discretion.

A simple ad showing the different positions he holds on any given issue, and the date (or time of day) he held that position, would go a long way.

I’ve heard Trump say something along the lines of, “my position is this ... but then again, it might be that, I don’t know” - in the same interview at times. It’s torture to my brain trying to understand what he’s saying.
