Savoy Brown, originally known as the Savoy Brown Blues Band, are an English blues rock band[1] formed in Battersea, south west London[2] in 1965. Part of the late 1960s blues rock movement, Savoy Brown primarily achieved success in the United States, where they promoted their albums with non-stop touring.[2]

Savoy Brown “Raw Sienna.” THE “underground” album of 1970. One of the many great songs on that album:

Saw them at the old Paramount Theater in Seattle, early 70’s - right when “Street Corner Talking” was released. Great concert in a small venue. Time flies.
I doubt that they played here more than once so I was probably at the same show.
Experienced some great music at Eagles Auditorium back then, too. Steve Miller, Canned Heat, Jethro Tull, Mothers of Invention, Paul Butterfield. Missed Jimi Hendrix, had to work that night. Wish I’d called in sick.
Yep - saw lots of shows at Eagle’s.
I saw Jimi at Sick’s Stadium. It started OK (he was late and slow to get started) but it began to rain - hard. I watched as a bunch of people left. We huddled under some visqueen and watched a killer show.
