Based on tonight, I would lean toward Carson or Christy, but I’ll leave it up to Donald Trump. He has a proven track record at picking good people.

I choose Phil Ruffin, business tycoon and Trump's business partner for years.   Read about this guy.   He's really got the smarts and Trump actually said at the Wounded Vets event in Iowa that he planned on having Ruffin as his negotiator against China.

Ruffin is a better dealmaker than Trump himself.  Imagine selling his huge Frontier casino in Las Vegas in 2007 for top dollar a year before Las Vegas real estates totally collapsed.   And then he used that profit to gain control of the Treasure Island casino in Vegas.   A business genius.

Ha!  Here he is driving his $500,000 Rolls Royce in Vegas.

Seriously, Ruffin is maybe too quiet a guy for the campaign, but I would love to see Trump have him take on China.

My point is that Trump may very well pick an outsider.   Forget about the politicians!   What do they know about building things and growing the economy?

But if picks a business person, he's got to give that person a real responsibility because otherwise they'll be bored to death in the VP job.

Mark Cuban is a possibility.

So what'd ya think?
