Walkie-talkie? Transistor radio?
Or she is scratching her face and that is her hair you see.
Second one is an ear trumpet. You can see a picture of one which would look like a cell phone when folded:

This trumpet was made around the time of the video.
A couple years ago when the issue first came up I found a picture which showed the ear trumpet looking exactly like a cell phone but I cannot locate it now for some reason.
The first one is definitely a lap top, though. You can tell from the expression on the woman’s face that she is reading Trump threads on Free Republic. She is so overcome with emotion she needs her daughter to hold the computer.
She’s trying to do that suggestive tongue in cheek move, she’s just not doing it very well, or to put it another way, she really blew it.
Lol. Y1k?
upright part is a mirror

Horatio Greenough made a really ill-considered tribute statue to George Washington that was immediately lampooned even at the time it was unveiled. One wag captioned it, “my body lies on Mt Vernon, my clothes are upstairs.”

Assuming there are extraterrestrials who are far more advanced than we are, why would one expect their computers to look like ours? Isn’t it just as likely their computer development may have been entirely different than ours?
(Cue Twilight Zone music)
Holy Moley its a Toshiba Satellite. :-)
Who's that beauty...Oh my...it's me.
It’s a Hephaestus, named after the Greek god of Kindling.
That’s him! I think it’s a Nokia phone. Too thick for a 6s. Although it might be a 6 in a marble case.
I wonder if AT&T sucked even back then.
Can you hear me yet?
