The Eagle Forum vs Rubio
American Thinker ^ | 2/6/2016 | Steve McCann

Posted on 02/06/2016 6:40:10 AM PST by conservativejoy

Marco Rubio, long the heartthrob of much of the so-called conservative media such as the National Review and Fox News, has now being thrust onto center stage as the last best hope of the establishment. His third place showing in Iowa this past week was the subject of perhaps the most fawning coverage by the broadcast media in this election cycle. In some quarters Rubio and his family was compared to the charismatic John F. Kennedy and his family in the days of "Camelot". Further, nearly everywhere one turned he was touted as a nearly unbeatable versus Hillary Clinton.

Conveniently overlooked by these love struck sycophants is his checkered past in duping many into believing he was an honest and forthright conservative who just made a minor error in promoting amnesty when he first set foot in the Senate - despite running as an avowed anti-amnesty candidate for the US Senate in 2010. In a devastating analysis of his record since his election as Senator The Eagle Forum lays out in great detail who this man really is as well as the lies and obfuscations in his determination to pass so-called “comprehensive immigration reform". The summary of the study in part:

There is no single major distinguishing policy difference between Marco Rubio, John McCain or Lindsey Graham. They have the same trade policy, immigration policy and foreign policy. But on immigration most especially - the issue in which all four have invested the most - there is no daylight separating them.

I’d rather Sanders be elected than rubbin’-one-out Rubio.
With Sanders, we’ll have the total collapse sooner rather than later. We can then start the rebuild.

The “purity police” could destroy any chance of GOP victory. Sanders better than Rubio is delusional! The SCOTUS alone blows that nonsense. Why do conservative purists always look for the dark lining on the silver cloud? Always choosing to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory? REALITY PLEASE: that Rubio is now the “establishment” candidate shows the victory of the grassroots over the RINOs. Rubio is far to the right of all the rest of GOPe. THAT’S VICTORY “purity police”. Also, that he’s getting flak from the right will keep him in line (IMHO)... he is a politician ya know... and in that he’s the best of the bunch. STOP the CRAZY “Bernie’s better” BeeEss PLEASE! The country’s at stake!

THAT’S VICTORY

Pyrrhic victory.

Every other issue you care about becomes moot after Rubio gives the Democrats their permanent majority

“Rush has lost his mind or been paid off”

I think Rush is in the camp that nobody but Rubio can beat Hillary. That’s why he’s pumping Rubio.

Always right Rush? Not on this one my friend.

Once voters see entire media complex behind Rubio, that the GOPe told Bush to lay off Rubio, should know he’s establishment, what we’ve been fighting.

Debate tonight will be to pump up Rubio, lots of foreign policy stuff to highlight his experience as a part-time senator. God help us, it’s Obama all over again.

“There is no single major distinguishing policy difference between Marco Rubio, John McCain or Lindsey Graham”

The three of them all went to Libya to prop up the terrorists and get some campaign $$$. Marco is going to cater to Islam, open borders and bad trade , just like his handlers Grover Norquist and Cesar Conda tell him to!

http://www.mofopolitics.com/2015/05/18/knowing-what-he-knows-now-would-marco-rubio-still-help-islamic-terrorists-topple-libya/ (nice photo of the three celebrating in Libya)

[snip]But in 2011, hoping to brandish his foreign policy credentials for an eventual presidential run, Marco Rubio became one of the most vocal supporters of Hillary Clinton’s War on Libya....

If we believe that the rise of this new attitude among young people and others seeking a new life and a new way in the Middle East is a positive thing, and I believe that it is, then it serves our national interest to see that happen.

Following the murder of Gaddafi, Marco Rubio, John McCain, and Lindsey Graham celebrated with their radical Islamic allies.
