Didn’t George Washington warn us about quantum entanglements?

this allows a kind of instantaneous cause and effect regardless of the distance between the two particles. So reality is not local.

So is this good or bad. Should I be elated or terrified?

Yep. This quantum computing stuff is going to lead to Skynet.

Terrified for the future of the human race.
Elated for the creation of a new cyborg race. Better. Stronger. Faster.

I thought we were getting there a couple of years ago when the EBT computer went down.
That it developed intelligence and decided to off those useless humans.

THIS IS VERY BAD!!!
This is the first step to quantum computers than can become self-aware at an exponential rate.
Probably by NEXT WEEK!!!!
(just kidding)

They observed what’s outside our universe. They peeked through the boundary of physics.
They will now have to die, err, excuse me, meet untimely deaths and suicides.

This could create a completely secure communication network. There would be no way to intercept “the signal”. Quantum states could be used to send 1’s and 0’s over vast distances, and do so instantaneously. Hello Star Trek sub-space communication.

You gotta make way for the Homo Superior
Look at your children
See their faces in golden rays
Don't kid yourself they belong to you
They're the start of a coming race
The earth is a bitch
We've finished our news
Homo Sapiens have outgrown their use
All the strangers came today
And it looks as though they're here to stay

This is, possibly, revolutionary.
It means at a minimum wireless communications that are instantaneous - beyond the speed of light - and unlimited. It means anywhere to anywhere instantaneous comms with unlimited data. Implementation is a problem - a huge engineering problem. But its no longer just a theory.
