The Japanese played MARCHING THROUGH GEORGIA when they entered Port Arthur in ‘05.

I served under an Air Force Colonel who had been Air Attache in Chungking when the Chinese Communists took over in 1949. He told me their band played "On Wisconsin" for the victory parade.

Below is a link to a video of "Marching Through Georgia" with Japanese lyrics. What is amazing about the video is that it shows scenes of Tokyo around 1936. With its wide streets and Western-style architecture, it looks like a modern American city such as Los Angeles.
