That is called a filter in the industry. A filter screens out easily offended or nit picky viewers. The producers put the scene first so they can move ahead with the series without having to listen to whiny complaints.

Point taken, though I can tolerate a lot (and can stand off-color stuff), I felt it was more of a “fed up” reaction on my part. I was embarrassed I recommended it to my parents before knowing they were going for shock and repulsive factor before it was two minutes in.
