Never even heard of it.

Wouldn’t watch if I had.

Yes. Love it. It’s intense, but lots of great scenes.

You all should check it out if you like the drama and some comedy of a ruthless hedge fund manager and a ruthless US Attorney trying to get to him for insider trading.

Last episode was great between the disgruntled wife of a dead partner and with Axelrod’s wife showing her how to lay the game.

I am. I’m attracted to the subject matter. Although I have problems with it. Another show I’ve been watching recently that I didn’t watch when it aired was Friday Night Lights. A show about Texas High School football. Of course, for each episode there’s about five minutes of football-related material followed by relationship melodrama.

Billions feels the same to me. Using the formula of Wall Street and billionaire investors merely as a vehicle to highlight the usual backstabbing, debauchery, and female bitchery that is supposed to garner viewers. And so the season will inevitably grind down to a binary choice for the protagonist but he’ll find that “third way” to escape his predicament.

a young “Madoff” type and ruthless ambitious US Attorney is most likely.

Hollywood is terribly predictable these days.

I like it. The two leads are strong and adversarial. Good insider stuff. You just think pews is set for a fall, but it’s been renewed do most likely long story ahead. Strong sexy women. I like the way his wife tore apart the author. Been a fan f Damien Lewis since homeland. I like the casual cocksure style. I’m a fan of the show.

I know it’s Hollywood but US Attorney is totally non-PC and is a freak!

I like giamatti. Yes he’s a freak. The way he went off on the dog poop guy and it’s all owner. That’s what makes it interesting. The kink with his wife (I think she’s hot day and night). May ge understandable. Power guy, likes to be dominated away from work. Not sure how unusual that is, but I’ll pass on the golden shower opening. Pisses me off.
