Groundhog Day Sonic Burger Cheeseburger Deal
Self | February 2, 2016 | P.J. Gladnick

Posted on 02/02/2016 10:29:44 AM PST by PJ-Comix

Today is Groundhog Day. Other than Puxhawtawny (sp?) Phil letting us know how long winter will last or watching once again the movie of that name, the most significant thing today is HALF PRICE cheeseburgers today at Sonic Burger. If you live in a cheeseburger wasteland like me, Sonic Burger serves about the only decent cheeseburgers so I always look for these deals.

Grab it today because tomorrow this deal will be gone.

Aren’t they half price every Tuesday? IMO, it’s more about J. Wellington Wimpy than Punxatawny Phil. lol

Groundhog Day: Punxsutawney Phil Did Not See His Shadow

Interpreting Phil's behavior, the Groundhog Club emcee proclaimed,

"There is no shadow to be cast! An early spring is my forecast!"

It’s every Tuesday. And, until just a few months ago, the special was $1 each.

I.e. they raised the price.

Shouldn’t an early spring be if you can see a shadow, and a late spring if you can’t? That always bugged me.

The liberals on our Town Council would not allow us to have a Sonic because of Global Warming.

Seriously.

Sonic Drive-in?

Yeah, same thing. I think the one near me is actually called that, "Sonic Drive-in."

Eleven miles for a burger? No thanks; six miles to Chick-Fil-A, maybe. Backyard grill? probably.

Or one at the pub after B’ball this evening, along with my restorative pint(s) at the Irish session.

No but I did have a coupon for BOGO footlong Coney dogs that I used last week. They are also outstanding.

Maybe out in the suburbs. The sonic in the metro area, their burgers are not anything to write home about.

I'm concerned about you, my friend...

Okay, the best cheeseburgers in South Florida. If I were in Southern California I would grab In-n-Out or a Tommy’s Burger.

In-n-Out

That's about as awful as a burger can get.

1/2 price every Tuesday but they no longer have hamburgers, you have to pay full price for a cheeseburger and have them hold the cheese.
