Yes, it was.
Far better than the movie as the audience contributed greatly to the energy of the performance.
It was exciting to watch.

I thought that Grease Live! was an amazing production; there were a few weak spots with the talent, and a couple of audio bobbles, but all in all an excellent production. Hey, it was live, ya know.
The finale was outstanding. Might have been a bit of a different ending if the 2nd shuttle bus had bobbled more than it did.
You know, not everyone can be a perfect dancer, perfect actress, and perfect dancer simultaneously at the same time.

My family enjoyed it as well. The production was nearly perfect considering all the moving parts. Supposedly the largest wireless mic footprint ever attempted on tv.

The actors had tears in their eyes for the final bow.
It was a FANTASTIC PRODUCTION.
(the audio was low on some singers, but it was live)
