C-SPAN seems to think Black History month begins in the middle of January. The last few weekends a large proportion of the weekend programs on C-SPAN have been either about current black issues or about black history.

While visiting Africa I found out Africans think our blacks that visit there are CRAZY. Their words. Mostly due to their own self segregating culture and way of acting and speaking.
My wife an I celebrate February with one visit to the Crenshaw mall.

February had 29 days in regular years and 30 days in leap years after Julius Caesar’s reform of the Roman calendar, until Augustus took a day from February and added it to August (so that his month would be as long as July, named for Julius Caesar). So a white guy was already scheming to shorten Black History month 2000 years ago. Talk about being pro-active.
