Since you have to pay a hundred dollars a year, how could anyone not know they had Prime?

I’ve had prime for a long time and until about a month ago it’s been great. All of a sudden it’s taking four or five days to get things that are supposed to be here in 2. I haven’t been able to figure out why I’m paying $99 a year for something I’m not getting.

All them. Next watch for eBay to take a hit. Amazon now offers used items with warranty. I live in a rural area and use Amazon Prime heavily. Gives me a great supply of fire starting paper as a plus.

Started last year and it more than paid for itself. Not a Bezos fan but AP works for us.

In fact between QVC and Amazon Prime we buy almost everything but food online, and we are very interested in Home Fresh (many PA suppliers) and Blue Apron.

Even when you know you're a member, Prime isn't all that it's cracked up to be.

A woman I know has her member niece order stuff for her in order to get the free premium shipping. Waited a tad bit too close to Christmas, and she didn't get the stuff until days after the holiday.

Frankly, no surprise thanks to the weather and cross-country origin of the package, not to mention the spike in overwhelming of the package delivery services with the demise of the brick-&-mortar supply model.

And if you can prove you are a student, Prime is only $39 annually.

Forget about the shipping cost, I got more than $99 worth of BOXES last year with prime. One membership is good for 4 people, how could you not do this?

Just completely worth it.

Amazon already has good prices, and the hidden benefit of Prime is that if I call them to complain about something they bend over backwards to fix it because they can see what my total spending for the year was. I just have a whole lot more confidence in a web site where they know my business is worth thousands over the years vs. some place where I might spend $100 on a one time basis.

They are to start collecting sales tax in my state soon. That will damage their competitive advantage for me.

subscribers tend to spend a disproportionately high amount of money with Amazon compared to non-members.”

You know, I hadn’t thought about it that way. But really Amazon should be paying US! Because it’s true: you have Prime, that makes it easy, and so with that, I buy TONS of stuff on Amazon.

Running out of deodorant? I buy it on Amazon. Because I can one click it on my computer and don’t have to think about it. No trip to the store, etc.

Incredible, really.

My wife is pretty much homebound and can order books online, watch movies and shop right from her computer. It’s well worth the cost to me.

I use the music and video all the time.

Lots and lots of good albums available for free for streaming over your smart phone.

Video is good, but Amazon’s GUI is still schizophrenic.

Free 2 day shipping, you can upgrade to overnight for $2 per order.

Considering Prime is less than Netflix that’s what I went for. I don’t watch much TV but as much stuff I order for my machine shop the $89 (mine was 89) a year pays for itself every month.

Have had Prime for three years. A good deal overall and I do watch several videos per month. One slight drawback, on lower priced items (say $20.00 or less), you might or might not be saving anything using Prime. They have to cover part or all their shipping and their prices can often be beat on lower priced items in brick and mortar stores.

Unreal that there are 54 million Prime users in the US. That has to be around 20% of the US adult population.

I’m a member and I know it.

We use Amazon Prime almost every week for something or other.

Add to that the streaming service that’s included, and Prime is worth more than its cost.

Good deal

AVOID AN AMAZON VISA CHARGE CARD.
These people are OVER THE TOP incompetent.

In carrying this crap card for six months, TWICE they failed to send me a bill. TWICE!
Just this past Saturday I received a bill with charges dating back to November though there was an actual zero balance on the card.

I canceled the card upon receipt of the outdated bill.
(my credit score is 823 in case there are inquiring minds)
