Seems silly to think that in a survival situation a gun capable of firing various ammo is needed in case the user runs across random ammo.
Solution looking for a problem.

Gimmick-I will pass. The gas escape from the barrel/cylinder gap must be awesome when firing a .270!

First, beard are prominent in all of todays hit movies. The beard lets you know they are deep cover. If Al Qeida ever finds this man, he’s almost autodead. *(this explains why he in on youtube, making videos)
Also it lets you know he was probably what is called an “operator”. I am not sure why this is cool, but it appears to be the case. My mother was actually an operator in the 1940s. My respect for her has grown immensely.
Perhaps in another 50 years Marines, Seals, and Spec op types will be known as “waitresses”, or “cheerleaders”.
