A day after endorsing Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump, Sarah Palin failed to appear as expected at a campaign rally for the GOP frontrunner Wednesday morning.
Trump supporters in Norwalk, Iowa, were told on Tuesday that Trump would appear "with a very special guest" after the high-profile endorsement by the former Alaska governor.
But after appearing in Norwalk, Trump gave a relatively standard stump speech without being joined by the onetime vice-presidential candidate.

They are trying to report on something irrelevant to take the focus off the impact her endorsement will make for Trump.
Here missing 1 rally is not the big story, her endorsement is and everyone knows it. They are just trying to tear her down and slime her.....Good luck with that one
It is a minor deal. It really has no importance. This close to the primary is fast and furious. Plans change, miscommunication happens.
What is silly is denying it ever happened. It was reported in multiple sources.
If your claim is we no longer accept anything reported about the campaign, only direct messages from the campaign, fine. But just apply to points that you like as well as those you don’t.

Palin appeared in AMES, Iowa, then went to Tulsa, Oklahoma to appear with Trump.
After AMES, and before TULSA, the media claims she was supposed to be in NORWALK, Iowa and didn't show (because she had to go home and take care of her elder son).
I didn't know that ALASKA was in between IOWA and OKLAHOMA.
Are you really trying to claim she went to Alaska between these two stops?
The only appointments I have these days....are doctor appointments. :)
If I do not give them 24-hour notice, I am charged for that missed time. This is universal, in my area.
FWIW, if I am in Iowa, and a Trump supporter, or one curious about learning more about Trump ...AND I take the day off from work....AND get a babysitter for my kids AND travel in sub-zero temps to the rally AND expect that Palin was going to be there, as advertised...and she wasn’t there...yep...I’d be disappointed. YOUBETCHA.
Palin can do no wrong. She is the most most perfect woman the Good Lord ever created.

Nobody claimed Palin is perfect. All anyone is saying is that it was never advertised that she would be at the earlier rally.

What I read said that Palin would attend TWO events.
Winterset, Altoona, Ames, Norwalk, Tulsa. That’s FIVE events.
She appeared in Ames and Tulsa. Does anyone have an explanation from Trump or Palin on why she didn’t appear in Norwalk ?

I'm not denying it ever happened. I am saying that there is obfuscation going on in the media as to whether TRUMP actually claimed Palin was going to be his special guest in NORWALK.
I see he had a press release saying he would have a special guest. He had John Wayne's daughter in Winterset. How do you know that it wasn't John Wayne's daughter who didn't 'appear' in NORWALK ?

Yes, and I have been looking at those sources. The most impressive one showed a press release stating there would be a SPECIAL GUEST (in Norwalk). It also goes on to say that the TRUMP camp said PALIN would appear at TWO places. She did.
The assumption is that NORWALK was one of those places.

Again, maybe it's true that she didn't show up. However, I'm finding it hard to prove that NORWALK was one of those stops when the articles state that she was Supposed to be at TWO places, and she was. Basic logic would then exclude a third stop.

No. I was being sarcastic, which should be obvious because Alaska is not between Iowa and Oklahoma.
I was referring to earlier posts that said she had to go take care of her son, and that's why she didn't appear in NORWALK, after leaving AMES and before she got to TULSA.
The real point (forgive me for not making it clear) is that 'taking care of her son' is not a viable excuse for why she didn't appear in NORWALK.
IF she was actually to appear in NORWALK, then there must be some other reason.
1. The Special Guest may not have been Palin.
2. IF it was, don’t you think there is a good reason she didn’t appear ?

I think it would help us all if TRUMP or PALIN made a statement clearing up whether it was PALIN who was ‘supposed’ to be there , and why, if true, she couldn’t make it.
Her schedule was previously published and was disclosed she was not going to be there, she was to be at another location.
The media is playing stupid to create an issue.
The one who served in Iraq. Palin described him as a “wounded warrior” who is not the same as when he went there.
Probably had to do with her son.
