A day after endorsing Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump, Sarah Palin failed to appear as expected at a campaign rally for the GOP frontrunner Wednesday morning.
Trump supporters in Norwalk, Iowa, were told on Tuesday that Trump would appear "with a very special guest" after the high-profile endorsement by the former Alaska governor.
But after appearing in Norwalk, Trump gave a relatively standard stump speech without being joined by the onetime vice-presidential candidate.

The Trump Campaign said the special guest would appear in AMES, IOWA. In the afternoon/evening.
She did.
IT was media sources like NBC and nonames like the website sourced in this article that CLAIM she was supposed to be in Norwalk Iowa.
How hard is that to comprehend ?
I have seen primaries going back to the 1950s and this one has turned into the silliest one of them all. When are they going to act like adults and address the issues that matter?
Who endorses who, who shows up and who doesn’t, who was born where, on and on and on...This is the nonsense that will drive people away from voting. I realize this sounds like a whine but I’m getting increasingly frustrated with the whole bunch.
He’s 26 years old and I’m sure his Dad and the rest are there to help him. Meanwhile America needs Palin right now.

What I am trying to get across to you is that the MEDIA advertising (after the fact) that Palin was supposed to be somewhere, then wasn't, isn't the same as Palin promising to be somewhere , then wasn't.
She was in Ames, Iowa and Tulsa, Oklahoma. AMES, IOWA was the only place that TRUMP promised she would be at. If you have proof that BEFORE TUESDAY, he promised she would be in NORWALK, Iowa, I would be happy to look at it.
The MEDIA is the only one I can find that PROMISED she would be every where else.
For those Cruz people she has no following check, again.

Back in the day, they used to have concert tours but not all the acts on the tour would necessarily perform at the same event. But the headliner would always be sure to be there.
Show me where Trump ADVERTISED she would be in Norwalk, Iowa.

However, that is an ASSUMPTION on the part of the writer. SHOW ME where it says TRUMP stated she would be there.
Show me where TRUMP promised ANYTHING other than that he would have a SPECIAL GUEST TUESDAY in AMES, IOWA at the campaign rally.

BIFF is correct. This is what the MSM was/is saying. It is THEIR opinion that she missed an appearance in NORWALK, IOWA. However, that is based on THEIR assumption that she was supposed to be there.
AND it is an ASSUMPTION and not a FACT. I have found no proof TRUMP or PALIN promised she would appear in NORWALK.
This “no show” was already debunked in a thread yesterday. Palin went from Ames Iowa to Tulsa Oklahoma “as planned” according to both Palin and Trump in tweets.
Both sides do it and it's really depressing because it shows how nuts our side is - especially knowing they will totally ignore the 8 years of Obama and what another term or two with a Hillary or Bernie would do when it comes time to "stick to their principles" by not voting for who we have standing.

Now, maybe Palin was supposed to appear, and didn't. If so, then I am sure there was good reason. However, I can find no where that TRUMP or PALIN said she would be there.

Odd how for years people here on FR talk about how the MEDIA LIES, MAKES STUFF UP, etc., and yet because it's something ONE wants to hear, all of a sudden the media are the guardians of truth.
I want more proof than SOMEONE SAID SOMEONE SAID.
IMHO, if Palin had to 'bow out', then some kind of explanation would be forthcoming from Palin or Trump. The absence of that explanation, at this point in time, makes it seem like this is just a media attempt to discredit Palin.
