The St. Paul Police Department has put an officer on leave while it investigates allegations that an officer made a post on Facebook urging drivers to run over protesters who rallied on a bridge Monday against the police killings of two black men.
The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports that the social media message told people how to avoid being charged with a crime if they struck someone during the march on Martin Luther King Day.

“Here’s the deal, you continue to drive and if you hit someone make sure you call 911 to report the accident and meet cops a block or two away and you can justify stopping further away because you feared for your safety since in the past people in this group has shown a propensity towards violence. Since they are trying to block the street and/or cross where there is no crossing you should not be charged with anything. Now, these idiots could try and sue you in civil court but remember that it will be jury trial and so most likely it will come out in your favor.”

I’m a teacher & I stay away from ANY social media. I am always amazed at the stupidity of people who post & then are shocked that they lost their job. At least you get to feel that momentary relief of, “Wow, I’m glad I’m not that stupid.”

Not only is it foolish from a career standpoint but as far as legal advise goes his statement ranks right up there with “fire two blasts outside the house”.
No way you hit one of these BLM scum, even accidentally, and not go to jail. At a minimum you would be financially ruined defending yourself because the racial grievance crowd would never allow the DA to let that go.
