Is it slow for today’s audience with a collective ADHD? You are correct. But I enjoyed the character development in the movie and its gradual build up to climax.
I liked it too. Not my favorite Tarantino movie, but I’ve liked everything he’s done; it didn’t contain as much of the humor that he usually blends in with his bloodbath. The outdoor scenes were absolutely beautiful, and the sense of menace and tension he developed indoors were some of his best. It was like taking the first 20 minutes of Basterds with the Jew Hunter and stretching it out for 2 hours.
