Well, to be fair, they are on the same side, working against America, so it's understandable.
Obama clearly wants Iran to have a nuclear bomb.
I believe he wants Iran to be in some political juxtaposition against a nuclear Israel. It places Israel in grave danger and changes the whole paradigm of the middle east.
He believes that Israel will then be forced to the table for some agreement for their continued physical security and economic survival,
