I can't figure out why Rand Paul didn't attend. It was an opportunity to get a lot of time to promote his ideas, not overshadowed by the drama.

It's good to hear they did well. FWIW, I'd rather see Huckabee get traction instead of Kasich. Rand Paul? He missed an opportunity, now that Cruz's narrative is crumbling.

I agree. Fiorina and Christie both showed that the undercard can be a springboard. Whether you like Paul or not, I think he has a unique perspective and it would be cool for that to be heard
