Way back to December 1st for the polling numbers? Seriously? In such a dynamic and fluid environment?
More recent numbers didn't fit the narrative for the Mr. Newport?

Trump closed the gap big time since he’s started.
Bear in mind, these are ‘low information voters’ only getting second hand info on Trump from the MSM - and it’s all negative.
Once they see him speak and he makes his case, he will close the gap in the general election.
Obama showed it is all about voter turnout. He had a crazy motivated small base (far leftists and blacks) turn out in record numbers for him.
Trump will have the same among working class. He’s also got 20% of the black vote - which would turn the election in the Republicans favor.
Post Obama blacks realize the Dem party is replacing them with Hispanics. At least some are wising up...
