I don’t actually analyze the sample — I throw it away unopened and just make stuff up.
The goobermint probably uses those DNA results.
Meh. In my case the gov got my DNA long ago when I was in the Army. I did an Ancestry DNA kit a little while ago. Is there a particular place I can check to see if I’m descended from anyone famous, or would the website put that up front? I got the result already, but I didn’t see anything on my results page about being related to anyone of note.
Yeah, didn’t some law enforcement ask Ancestry.com for info. They were looking for ‘familial connections’.
