Ciara sang the national anthem at the Alabama-Clemson national title game on Monday night. She did a wonderful job and looked beautiful. However, she showed rather a lot of skin for 8:30 p.m. on a weeknight. People took notice and offence.

ive seen worse
I thought her dress was beautiful. She wore far more than the majority of cheerleaders, and some fans...
“ive seen worse”
ROFLMAO!
It's skimpy but she's got the goods to fill it out.
Since there is no recorded video or audio of this semi-exposed girl’s performance, the question is begging to be asked:
“Did she sing our national anthem, as it was written to be sung, or did she ‘African-Americanize’ it, with the usual trilling?”
The gauze overlay makes her bosom look whiter than her natural exposed skin. That’s racist!
Wouldn’t have been so bad if she had used a couple nipple covers. Actually think that’s a pretty awesome dress. Just a tad transparent under those bright lights. Wonder if she even realized it.
This seems to convict the NFL and BCS as one of the same community. Why would a top NFL QB’s finance, of all the people in America or the World, sing at a College Football Event? The answer is that the best of the Sport-of-Football is represented at the Game in the national spotlight. This could harm College Football if a movement was brought to bear using this as the nexus of corruption.
She’s a very attractive woman and I though that was a very nice and elegant dress.... So, getting back to the things that matter, am I the only one that noticed the Goodyear blimp kept missing that kick wide right?...
My guess is she "performed" it with her personal rendition.
Since no one, including whites, sings it any more but performs it, I mute the sound so I do not have to hear them perform it. It is as disgusting as burning/trashing the flag.
I object to singers who feel that it is necessary to insert extra notes into the Anthem, notes that Francis Scott Key never intended to be in there.
The melody Francis Scott Key used for his song was the popular English tune known as "To Anacreon in Heaven." Anacreon was an ancient Greek poet noted for his praise of love and wine. Written about 1775 by John Stafford Smith, the tune was originally the "constitutional song" of the Anacreontic Society, a gentlemen's music club in London.
Yes, we can.
(that said, I have seen better)
Thank you for the correction.
Therefore my comment becomes...
“...notes that John Stafford Smith never intended to be in there.”
The dress is ridiculous and yes, she knew.
You’re singing to Alabama/South Carolina Bible Belt fans...
...and you wear THAT!
Would have not looked out of place at the Golden Globes.
it was on purpose and In Your Face.
Well...she is a light skinned woman. I just wonder why some women feel the need to display in public what only a spouse or lover should be able to see. Strapless wedding gowns, for example.
But since I didn’t hear her sing (perform?) the National Anthem, I find absolutely nothing to complain about!
;^)
I thought she did a very respectful rendition of the national anthem.
Momma sez, muh muh muh mom momma sez, nipple covers are the devil.
She thought she was in Vegas. Common sense does not prevail today with many women.
