It’s California, Jake, forget about it.

"strange how people fall for the cult of personality"

Hopefully we can avoid going down the Bush/Clinton dynasty paths.

It won’t matter, because everyone that has a problem with Trump can stay home and he will still win the nomination and the general election. Its a done deal, the Reagan dems will crossover in droves. The border, political correctness, the uniparty, are the things that matter. If you are concerned about him fixing or not fixing other issues, you are focused on the deck chairs while sailing on the Titanic.

It’s a bit of a crapshoot. With Trump what you get is Trump. He’s a pragmatist that seems to have a lot of traditional American values. He’s no ideologue.

But it’s a crapshoot with any of them. Rubio was a teaparty darling, and he turned out to be completely untrustworthy.

I’m willing to take a shot with Trump and Cruz would be a close second.

He helped us fire Grey Davis and got re-elected.
Imagine the slope of Marxism we’d have faced under 8 years of Davis...

Perfect? far from it.
But he wasn’t a disaster on par with Davis, and he’s light years ahead of most dems.

Agreed, Cruz is my second. Until Trump came into the race, Jeb was a shoe in. Remember that folks. Jeb would be polling high right now and because of the new GOP primary rules, Cruz would be NOTHING! Dead! Trump upset that applecart. He is making the rules now.

I don't think it's cult of personality.

If you don't think there is a Trump personality cult, check out the live threads for his speeches.

Trump made his fortune in the real world, main street America, building REAL THINGS. Trump has build more buildings, more hotels and more golf resorts than all 44 previous presidents COMBINED.

Ahnuld made his fortune in movies acting as someone he was not.

Ahnuld is not eligible to tun for POTUS.]
Trump is a natural born citizen, born ion USA, to parents who were both US citizens at his birth.

Most important difference? Trump has the personality to resonate with American voters, better than any Billionaire.

He also didn't have near the record of liberal comments that Trump has had. Thoughts?

Yeah. The GOP backed him and shunted off the true conservative, Tom McClintock.

Tom McClintock was a long-time California Republican who, from many years in the California state senate, knew all too well the state's problems and had a plan to solve it.

Instead, the GOP backed the RINO celebrity who had no idea and no plan to solve the state's problems.

Ahnold was bold to call out the state's Democraps by calling them girly-men, but in the end they proved who was whom's ***ch.

In case you are unaware, California had humongous budget deficits and no money printing machine like the Feds. California is beyond rescue.

He tried to get props passed that would have helped and he said if they didn’t pass it wouldn’t be good, they didn’t pass and guess what?

He wasn’t running as one, and his record as a left-winger and associations with and as the RINO Establishment puppet were well established.

At least Ah-nold didn't marry her like El Jebbe did.

Correct. Arnold ran as a Republican and it was funny to see his picture in the DMV office. Then Props 51, 52, 53 and 54 were presented, the evil Democrats advertised against them and the Props lost. Arnold was crushed. He went to his tent outside the Capital in Sacramento and smoked cigars with celebrities while the thieve continued to run California. Props 52 would have solve most problems that California has today.

Problem: spending $120 billion for an $80 billion budget. Wasteful. Unethical.
Solution: Stop spending above the budget.

So many are so inventive when it comes to finding ways to be afraid of Trump - many fear him more than another Obama - can't fix stupid but you can point it out...

Kind of interesting how many of the "concerned" nutcases don't seem to be among those who pay to keep the lights on...

Now for a short public service announcement to all on FR:
We need to ensure we don't get another Obama-like America Hater as the next President.
The best way to ensure that is to actively support a candidate (even if he's "rich enough to do it on his own") as the next President.
I donate to the candidate I support and you should too, else, your "support" really doesn't have any meaning.

It's even worse if you use FR and don't donate. If you are one of those who feel it's OK to use FR daily w/o helping pay to keep the lights on, then please don't complain about the welfare leeches because, functionally, you are no different than any other who enjoys the fruits of others' work for your own benefit. Also, don't be surprised if others decide that your opinions are as worthless as your non-donations - hypocrites aren't worth listening to.

PS - If you are one of those unlucky few who cannot afford even a small donation to FR or a candidate, God Bless and happy FReeping!.....

Donate to FR
