As far as I know this is David Bowie's last video and if you can say nothing else about the man you must admit he went out with style.
Grand, spooky style.

"That is amazing."
Who says music cannot also be visual art? And a dramatic play?
Here's a guy who apparently and certainly knew he was dying. So he decides to write a song and a produce a video about it.
I think there are some poets and writers that have written of their own imminent death, but I don't recall it in music anywhere...
Then to combine it with the darkest of visual performance.
Amazing is the least of it.

Youtube seems to be too overloaded on that one:

I know, and people on here have been arguing that he's not really an artist, per se. Phillistines.

I rather liked “The man who sold the world” later covered by Nirvana, that riff is up there with the top ear worms.

I say, David, thanks for sharing your talent, life and now death. Truthfully, I loved David Bowies music as well as his talent and now this final video was one more peek into his genius, which he left as a thank you.

Well. My hair is pretty much standing on end now, and that was just from watching the tiny version that youtube was able to keep up and running.

THE MAN WHO SOLD THE WORLD was my favorite...as it was with the great Dr. Walter Bishop.
There’s a great jazzy version with a string quartet by Claire Martin, a UK jazz singer.

Hey Laz, a big favor for the challenged such as myself as well as a small tribute to great talent. Would you please post the David Bowie/Tina Turner video of “let’s dance.” By far the most visceral, rawest on stage performance ever made. If I remember, he surprised her onstage and it was a completely impromptu moment. Still gets me up to this day.....
