Click, “Run command inside a shell.” I don’t think you’ll see the results otherwise.

My favorite episode was where the guy got stuck under the desk between two women wearing dresses...

It would be easier if you could just launch a Terminal, as you need to run a couple of different commands.

Hopefully. I have no idea, though, as I don’t use Chrome—only Safari and Firefox.

c-76-103-28-196:~ povwest$ ps -ef | grep -i chrome ; exit;
logout

[Process completed]

It ran but the Google Chrome Icon is still appearing in the Force Quit Applications window

Mikey, The command ps -ef | grep -i chrome does the following: Show all running processes and then pipe the output through a case insensitive search for the word, "chrome." You will still need to take the PID (process ID) which the above command will reveal and issue a kill -9 That's why you should just launch a Terminal and type these commands in there.

Just out of curiosity, why are you running google spyware on your system? If you must run it, do it in a VM.

Chrome isn’t running. Notice the only process with the name, “chrome,” is the grep command itself.

That’s not Chrome, it’s just the grep command itself.

On second thought looking at the response it does not appear Chrome is running.
