As absurd as it sounds, Nick Saban had found time to relax. The coach was at a restaurant near his Georgia vacation home at Lake Burton, more than 300 miles from Alabama’s campus in Tuscaloosa. It was summer — far closer to next season than the previous season.

The point is that just because they are ALABAMA everyone expects them to win. That is a burden they have overcome in the past.

Local news is 24/7 about the game and the surrounding hoopla. Last night it was several stories of the Alabama team plane landing. No I am not kidding.
Watching it, I started to wonder. Which team would be first to have a player arrested?
Not a real original thought since it seems to have happened at every bowl game for the past 20 years or so.

There are more people in metro Houston than the whole state of Alabama.
