Well, when the first sentence starts out with falsehoods, the rest of the story becomes moot.
When Ted Cruz said in a private meeting that voters were going to have to make their decisions based on judgment and strength and that Carson and Trump might find that a challenge, Trump supporters called that an attack.
Now Trump has called Cruz’s eligibility a “precarious situation” and you want to maintain that it wasn’t an attack? Sure.

Donald did say there was no problem with Ted’s eligibility... that it had been scrutinized every which way and was over.
As far as I know, he did not say that repeatedly but he may have.
As for the rest of the article, it may be overblown but it contains a lot of truth.
Donald has been a great boon to this election cycle. I will always appreciate that. Look how he’s gotten Bill’s gal problem talked about for one thing.
However, he is a massive egoist and Ted Cruz is doing well in polls in early primaries.
He did not hesitate to go postal on Ben Carson after saying how much he admired him.
Now, he’s going after Ted ... oh, I know ... he is just trying to help him but ...
