Trump is a nationalist, and the only one currently running for President who is. In fact, other than his brash anti-PC lingo (ultra-PC was a challenge that Reagan never faced), Trump is the only one who is Reaganesque.

Reagan was never an activist social conservative - he had a "Just say no to drugs" approach claiming that one should never "antagonize those who live on the fringe" ... he solidified Social Security for an additional generation while imposing a 100% tariff on selected Japanese electronics in 1987... and he never, never ever claimed he was on a mission from God.

If you want to visit Reagan's real 'shining city' then read his 'Notes' compiled by Douglas Brinkley, match that with his actions, then dismiss much of what others (sans Trump) are claiming in his name.
