OK, I’m stupid about these things, but why does anyone need youtube? Aren’t there other sites or even your own website that can handle videos?

I would say that’s not even the point.

The point is there are censoring the internet and imposing their views on us.

As for youtube, it’s a convenient place to search many videos on a myriad of topics... as long as it’s not firearm related I suppose.

youtube has been easier and faster to retrieve anything from making cookies with concrete to how to change a diaper on an alligator

Youtube is a great resource to have/use. I have fixed my furnance, diagnosed car problems, and watched countless reviews of products before I purchased them. Not to mention some music and funny as hell stuff.

Of course, but youtube draws the most traffic. So if you want your video to be seen by the most people, you have to use it.
