I personally passed one at 4am after a very long wedding party, even though I wasn’t even in a car, or on a public road. I know it’s hard to believe, but the officer tried to get me to say that I met him on the road, although I was pulled into a pasture and no one was in the car when he rolled by.

Actually, it’s harder to understand what you are talking about.
I’ve been told by LEO friends that if the keys are out of the ignition and on the floor, you can’t be charged with DUI. Now, public intoxication is another story. But if you’re sleeping it off, they really have nothing.
