There’s only one person who I will allow to resurrect me and his name ain’t Josh.
Funny thing - Actually it is.
Sort of.
"Josh" being short for "Joshua",
which is just an Anglicanization of "Y'Shua",
which is the name of both the OT Joshua and Jesus.
(But I'm sure this "Josh" aint what you'd call a real close relation to either of them.)
Just because you can do something, does it mean you should do something?
The “can do” is a long way off, any way you cut it. It would be possible, I suppose to transcribe most of what makes up a person’s complete life experiences (intelligence, memories, emotions, and “spirituality”) onto some kind of electronic recording device, and thus “resurrect” that person. But it is actually a NEW person from the instant that one bit of new memory/experience/cogitation is added, the old shell in which all this was housed is still - dead.
And there are always small gaps in the information that are either incompletely transcribed, or simply dropped altogether.
Same here.
Actually “Jesus” is a Greek form of his name, Joshua in its original Hebrew
Actually, His name is Josh. Jesus is the Greek transliteration of the Hebrew name Joshua.
