A day after Knicks player Cleanthony Early was shot and robbed leaving a Queens jiggle joint, the club was hit by two Molotov cocktails early Thursday, cops said.
Someone hurled the flaming bottle at the CityScapes Gentleman’s Club on 58th St. in Maspeth about 5:30 a.m., police said.

High profile ‘customer’ was kneecapped after coming out of the strip club, and then the club is firebombed.
Sounding less and less like a routine robbery, and more like a business dispute.

Boy, when the turnover bug bites the Knicks, it really bites them.
In the old days teams simply traded players they didn’t need anymore.
You have to dig through the stories to find this: “Left behind by the bandits was Early’s stolen bridgework bling, found sitting in the middle of Maurice Ave. in Maspeth near a spent shell casing.”
So they didn’t really take the gold ‘grillz’ with them.
Now, whether he, or the club, was the primary target will probably be swept under the carpet, but the firebombing suggests that he was just collateral damage.
I was thinking Big Mouth owed the money or he vouched for someone who does.
Business and personal. Pull the teeth for insult, shoot the knee for not paying up.
My idea is the bottle bombs were just a warning to the owners of the joint to keep their own mouths shut.
Mind you I am working from the wide array of mob movies I have watched (not to mention endless episodes of Law & Order), and they are all reliable as can be, right (lol)?

Don't know if he was dirty.
I do know someone knew he went to the strip club and when he left. They planned a coordinated attack with multiple cars, multiple muggers.
Don't know who gave him up - someone at the club, the girlfriend, the uber driver, or anyone else who knew his plans.
Maybe someone on his team?
