The best use for “crap” beer, but not “lite” crap beer, is beer bread. Once cooked, beer bread it great to slice, then top with whatever, as a snack for guests to eat.

3 cups self-rising flour
3 tbsp sugar
1 12oz room temperature beer, not light beer

Mix together thoroughly, then pour into greased bread pans and bake at 375F for 45 minutes. It is important that the beer is room temperature.

DIY Flour, self-rising

3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp and 1-1/2 tsp baking powder
1-1/2 tsp salt

Near Los Angeles, actually. Hard to throw a brick without hitting someone pouring a local brew into a keg.

Okay, so they might not let you do this at your local shooting range, but those who have the ability to do some outdoor target practice, go for it!

Sounds like fun, which is why I prefer to shoot out in the open desert. Unfortunately there are a lot of chuckle heads that leave all their trash, broken glass even refrigerators, washing machines and ranges behind after having their fun.

We used a six-pack of Stroh’s as radiator flush in my friend’s race car. It worked great, we shoulda hit Stroh’s up for some sponsor money.

And now for something completely different...

Back in the day (in Florida) when keeping grass green and cut was a 12 month activity I used a tonic that was amazing. This was a Jerry baker derivation that I used and bought a case of out-of-date beer for $2 or so...

"There are a few common recipes for making tonics for lawns that are widely distributed on the internet. These are included below. One high profile garden expert, Jerry Baker, guards his formulas and shares them only with his followers… for a price… but even some of his recipes can be found online. The origin of the majority is unknown.

This is the most common tonic recipe found on the internet:

1 can of beer (not light beer)

1 can of soda (usually cola, but not diet soda)

1/2 cup ammonia (regular household strength)

1/2 cup mouthwash (usually the gold type)

1/2 cup dish soap (not anti-bacterial)

Mix all ingredients and pour into a hose end sprayer with a 10 gallon rating.

Spray on lawn after mowing — just enough to wet the grass.

Reapply every three weeks."
