It’s a bit cloudy in my area to see the cold full Christmas moon but it’s quite warm. I’m taking my dog for another walk sans coat. The trees are bare, the lawns are brown but it’s almost 70 degrees.

Here in Virginia we had the most amazing halo around the moon. I have never seen anything like it before.

The setting of the moon this morning was very striking with a few clouds in front of an orange moon on the horizon.
